NJ Sullivan makes many NEMA and UL compliant Hinged Cover Junction boxes.
Our Type 1 hinged cover junction box is UL listed and complies with NEMA type 1.
Formed and continuously seam welded from 16, 14 or 12 gauge steel depending on size.

The Type 1 hinged cover junction box is designed for indoor commercial use as a junction or pull box and provides protection against contact with the enclosed equipment.

The junction box comes with flanged steel door provided with a continuous steel piano hinge. The door is secured with a flush coin-turn latch (options available).

Features mounting holes in back, grounding stud with lug and the enclosure is finished with galvanized (G90).
