Job Description

Full time sheet metal welder position; 

Looking for a person who has experience in welding 12-16 gauge sheet metal. Enjoys working with their hands, has a good attitude and willing to learn. Candidate must be punctual, able to communicate with others, and willing to work in a team environment. Will train candidate in all areas of metal fabrication, from drawing to final product. 

Position can be physically demanding at times; working on your feet most the day and some heavy lifting required. This is a full-time position 4-day workweek; Monday -Thursday 7:00 am -5:30 pm (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities and Duties:

NJ Sullivan Co. is a leading fabricator of products for the electrical construction industry. Candidate will be exposed to the latest technologies in metal fabrication: laser cutting, CNC punching, robotic welding, powder coating and more…

This position performs a variety of operations to include, but not be limited to: 

• Operating a punch press 
• Assisting with sawing, shearing, notching, and bending of metal components 
• High production manufacturing environment

Qualifications and Skills: 

**Must have familiarity with addition, subtraction, conversion of fractions and decimals** **Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication & general shop processes a plus**
