Our Type 3R Electrical Junction box is UL approved for commercial outdoor use, providing it’s components protection from ice, sleet, rain and snow. Available as screw cover or hinged cover, our NEMA Type 3R electrical junction box is pre approved for many utility companies.

Formed from 12 to 16 gauge steel (depending on size) the type 3R electrical junction box is continuously seam welded and finished with galvanized G90 sheet metal. Comes standard with external mounting ears and grounding stud with lug. Also available with back panel, meter seals for lock-out, powder coating, knock-outs, cut-outs and louvers.
