Type 4X – Screw Cover Junction Box

Application

Designed for general purpose indoor or outdoor commercial use as a junction or pull box. Intended purpose is to provide protection against contact with enclosed equipment where corrosion, rain, sleet, ice, or hose directed water is possible.

Construction

Formed and continuously seam welded from 16, 14 or 12 gauge steel depending on size.

Flange cover provided with gasket and fastened with stainless steel screws.

External mounting ears provided.

Grounding stud with lug.

 

Finish

Type 304 stainless steel with 2B (dull) finish.
